KG1 Welcome Party

On November 17, 2012, the Student Life Organization at Zakho International School organized a welcome party for KG1 students. The party included activities such as face painting, dancing, and singing, all of which were found to be entertaining by the young students, staff, and prefects. Some of the school staff even dressed up as cartoon characters to add to the fun!

The goal of the event, the first of its kind at the newly opened Zakho International School, was to welcome the new young students and help them settle in to their new school. By all accounts, it was a successful endeavor and KG1 students returned happily to school the next day.
