SLO^® at Zakho Hold Student Life Recruitment Day

The SABIS^® Student Life Organization^® (SLO^®) at Zakho International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, held a Student Life Recruitment Day organized by the Outreach Department for students in grades 2 to 7 on September 17, 2017.

During the Student Life Recruitment Day, different departments in the SLO^® decorated stands where they held different activities to explain about their role at the school. Students then walked to the stands to learn about the departments and if interested they applied and interviewed for the roles they wanted. Prior to this event, the departments decorated the school with informative posters to get students interested in joining the SLO^®.

The purpose of this event was to give students a chance to join the SLO^® and actively contribute to as well as be responsible for their school community. The students enjoyed this activity very much, especially the opportunity to become part of the SLO^® at their school. “We were so glad to have the choice to be in any department we wanted to,” said a student.
