Students at Zakho International School Are Motivated to Develop their Art and Musical Talents

On April 13, 2019, students at Zakho International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, visited the Art and Music Institute in Duhok for a cultural and artistic experience.

Students in Grade 8 learned about the different types of art and music and the benefits of each. Afterwards, each student was given a topic to act out, sing, or play a musical instrument about.

The purpose of this activity was to encourage students to develop their art and musical talents in a new location. “It was an amazing activity to encourage us to use more of our talents,” said a Grade 8 student.
