Students at Zakho International School Enjoy an Iftar Dinner

On May 25, 2019, students in grades 5-8 at Zakho International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan were invited to an Iftar dinner at Happy Park.

Students were asked to bring with them their favorite meal for the Iftar dinner. As soon as they arrived to Happy Park, they took some photos to keep as memories. Afterwards, teachers, students, and prefects had dinner together. After dinner, students played lots of games together and enjoyed their night. They were dropped back to the school and went home later during the night.

The purpose of this activity was to give students a chance to bond outside the school campus. “Both students and teachers had the opportunity to enjoy something different,” said a teacher
