Students Receive Discipline and Attendance Certificates

Students Receive Discipline and Attendance Certificates

Students in grades 1-5 received Discipline and Attendance Certificates at Zakho International School, a SABIS® PPP school, on Saturday, December 12, 2015. Responsible for organizing this event was the SABIS Student Life Organization®’s (SLO®) Discipline Department.

To start off the event, the certificates were handed out by the head supervisor and deputy discipline prefect. Receiving this certificate was an acknowledgement of the students’ efforts in discipline and attendance.

Besides presenting the students with certificates for no infractions, ten students were selected to be looked upon as the Class Role Model, due to having good attendance, being well-disciplined, having no infractions, and scoring high academically.

All of the students that received certificates went to Happy Park, where they rode the rides such as the merry-go-round and the kangaroo ride. It was an enjoyable day for both the students and supervising staff.

Holding such an activity gave recognition to those students who had great attendance and behaved well during Term 1. “These activities are highly valuable, teach students to behave accordingly, and to be punctual to school,” a teacher said. The students who did not receive a certificate were encouraged to try harder next time in Term 2.
