Zakho Management Prefects attend SLO® Data Management Prefect Training Session

Prefects in grades 5 and 6 and at Zakho International School, a SABIS® PPP school in Kurdistan, attended a SABIS Student Life Organization® (SLO®) Data Management Prefect Training Session at the school on November 11, 2017.

The activity began with a detailed introduction on the AMPS, the data management solution used by the SLO®. The program, which allows students to create jobs and schedules for prefects, is an important tool used to manage prefects in the SLO®. The prefects were taught how to use the program as well as read and print reports. After the explanation, students did some practice on the program while being observed by senior data management prefects, the director, the Student Life Coordinator (SLC), and the Academic Quality Controller (AQC).

The purpose of the activity was to teach management prefects how to use the AMPS program and to contribute more to the SLO®. “After the activity, I saw a huge change in efficiency. They no longer needed to be supervised by the senior prefects and now work on the entire program by themselves, which is very helpful,” said the SLC.
