Zakho Rewards Role Model Students

On April 14, 2018, students in Grade 4-7 who were role models in class at Zakho International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, enjoyed a picnic.

On this day, students with no infractions and/or absences were awarded a certificate of acknowledgment and taken for a picnic to celebrate. At the picnic in the park, students played many games like volleyball, badminton, football, etc. and danced with their friends.

The purpose of this activity was to recognize students who were good role models at the school. It was also a good way to encourage all students to behave well and have good attendance at school. “These activities are very helpful in promoting good behaviour at school,” said a teacher.
