ZAKHO SLO^® PRESENT THEIR YEARBOOK TO THE MOE

On December 27, 2018, ambassador prefects in grades 3 to 7 from Zakho International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, visited the Ministry of Education (MOE) and presented their year book to the officials at the ministry.

Together with the School Director and the SLC, prefects went to meet with the Governor of Zakho and the Director of the Zakho Education Department. At the meeting the students introduced themselves in a professional manner and presented their year book and calendar from the 2017-18 academic year.

The purpose of this visit was for the students to present their work to the officials, teach students to be proud of themselves and what they have accomplished, and allow them to experience formal meetings with important members of the community. “We are very proud of ourselves and how we represented our school at the meeting,” shared a student.
