ZAKHO STUDENTS ENJOY A TRIP TO THE SNOW

On January 25, 2019, grades 7 and 8 students at Zakho International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, enjoyed a snow trip to Gara Mountain with their classmates.

The students, prefects, and teachers met early in the morning at school and took the bus to Gara Mountain. Once they got there, students and teachers played in the snow and even made snowmen. After they played games and took photos together, they went and had lunch at a restaurant.

Taking children on snow trips is a valuable experience for them as it allows them to spend quality time with their friends in nature and make lifelong memories. All in all, the children had a very enjoyable and exciting time together. “To see those beautiful sights of snow encouraged me to study more, because I really enjoyed it so much,” said a student
