Zakho Students Receive Honor Awards

Zakho International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, rewarded students in all grades for their good academic efforts on December 17, 2017.

Students at the school with an 85% average or higher in Term 1, received a “certificate of achievement” for their good efforts in a ceremony held at the school. During their lunch breaks, the AQCs gave out the certificates in front of all the students at the school.  Following the ceremony, an Honor Board was created for the students.

The purpose of this activity was to encourage students to study hard in the next term and to show appreciation for the students who are making the effort to maintain good academic averages. “This will encourage us to study very hard in Term 2, we love getting certificates,” said a student.
