ZAKHO STUDENTS VISIT WATER FACTORY

On March 2, 2019, Grade 4 students at Zakho International School, a SABIS^® PPP school in Kurdistan, enjoyed a trip organized by the SLO^® Activities Department to a water factory.

Along with teachers and prefects, students traveled by school bus to the water factory, and enjoyed the journey singing and listening to music together. On arrival, students were very excited to see the factory and they were met with a very warm welcome from the staff. Next, students were showed the exact production process from start to finish and even got to taste the water at the end. Staff also gave a very informative talk on the benefits of water for health.

The purpose of this activity was for the students to enjoy an informative day together. “It was fascinating to learn about the benefits of water and how it is being produced. I wish for more activities like this one,” said a student.
