Grade 2 students at Zakho International School, a SABIS® PPP school, built objects with wooden sticks on December 12, 2015.
Using their imagination, students created different shapes and objects from wooden sticks, which would then be shown at an exhibition. During the exhibition, each student had the chance to explain their creation to the judges, as well as view other students’ projects. The event ended once the judges chose the first, second, and third place winners.
“The students were very eager to show their projects to their friends and staff. Also they felt excited to receive awards from the judges,” some teachers said. This activity was held to encourage students to be creative.
